CRY OUT - PRAYER GUIDE
A time of repentance, cleansing, and seeking God for revival.
"I will cry out to God Most High, to God who performs all things for me.
He shall send from heaven and save me; He reproaches the one who would
swallow me up. God shall send forth His mercy and His truth."

Repentance
"For godly sorrow produces repentances leading to salvation,
not to be regretted; But the sorrow of the world produces death."
II Cor. 7:10
1.) Confess your sins and ask God to forgive
you and cleanse you.
2.) Ask God to help you focus on Him.
3.) Pray for continual spiritual growth.
4.) Pray to be filled and continually filled with the Holy Spirit.
5.) Surrender everything to God.
Revelation
"that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory,
may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of
Him." Ephesians 1:17
1.) Pray and ask God to show you a place free
from distraction where you can pray and spend time with Him on a regular
basis.
2.) Pray for God's presence and a sensitive ear to hear His voice.
3.) Pray for an intimate relationship with the Lord closer than you have
ever had.
4.) Pray that God will make you sensitive to the needs of those around
you and give you a place of influence so you can minister to those
needs.
5.) Pray that you will consistently and intentionally seek God.
Relationships - Friends
"Now when he had finished speaking to Saul, the soul of Jonathan was
knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.
Saul took him that day, and would not let him go home to his father's
house anymore. Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he
loved him as his own soul." 1 Samuel 18:1-3
1.) Pray for your lost friends. Call them
by name.
2.) Pray that God reveals t you any relationships that you need to
disconnect from.
3.) Pray that God would use you to encourage your friends.
4.) Pray that God would bring the right people into your life.
5.) Pray and ask God to show you new people He may want you to befriend.
Relationships - Dating
"Flee also youthful lust; but pursue righteousness, faith,
love, peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart."
2 Timothy 2:22
1.) If you are in a relationship ask God if it
is His will!
2.) Confess God as the center of your life and relationships.
3.) Pray for your future spouse; that God would begin even now to work
in his or her life.
4.) Pray for boldness and guidance to establish guidelines that will
protect you physically and emotionally.
5.) If you have made mistakes, pray for forgiveness and begin to seek
only Godly dating relationships.
Relationships - Family
"Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is
established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and
pleasant riches." Proverbs 24:3-4
1.) Pray that God would use you to bring
repentance and revival to your entire family.
2.) Pray for wisdom, guidance, favor, and understanding for your
parents.
3.) Pray for hearing ears, spiritual eyes to see, hearts, to listen, and
open communication between you and your parents.
Revival - Personal, Church, School,
Community, and Nation
"And it shall come to pass afterwards that I will pour out
my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions."
Joel 2-28
1.) Pray that this revival will affect future
generations around the world.
2.) Pray that Christ would be lifted up, not man or methods.
3.) Pray that God would bring complete unity to the Church.
4.) Pray for empowerment of God's Spirit.
5.) Pray that every person in every nation would hear the Gospel in
their language.
6.) Pray for us to obey the assignment that God gives us.
7.) Pray that God would add to us daily.
8.) Pray that your generation would be available and willing to hear
God's voice to advance His Kingdom.
Re-occurrence
"For so the Lord has commanded us: 'I have set you as a
light to the Gentiles; that you should be for salvation to the end of
the earth." Acts 13:47
1.) Pray that prayer will not just be an
occasion in your life, but that your life would be governed by prayer
(that you will see and hear what God is doing and saying.)
2.) Pray that your prayers will be intentional and consistent.
3.) Pray that your relationship with Him would be stronger than your
relationship with the world.
4.) Pray that God would give you passion to pray.
5.) Pray that your prayer life would impact others as it impacts you.
