11AM Sunday Worship Service 4/05

Hello Everyone, the Administrative Council wants everyone to know of our new schedule during the next coming weeks due to circumstances around the country.

First, for Sundays, please note that we will not have Sunday School for an indefinite period of time.

Second, the building will be open between 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Sunday for anyone who wishes to speak to a pastor and have prayer. We will then give those who come for prayer the opportunity to leave the building, and the building will then be closed afterwards so that we can get ready to livestream the a.m. service. You may drop by the church building for private prayer during office hours throughout the week; you can also bring your tithe and offering, or pick up tithing envelopes. The office hours are: 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Third, starting at 11 a.m. on Sunday, we will livestream the a.m. service and invite you to enjoy the service on your smartphone, tablet or computer at home. Chris Lynch and the band will be playing the music you love to hear. The Pastor will also bring a Sunday message. Please go to the church website to connect to the livestream service. The website address is: You will see the livestream button on the first page that you see on the website. All you have to do is click on the livestream button. Also, you can go the church website ( and click on the button called the “Pastor’s Page”. This page will include a recap on the new service hours, and will include in coming days other things from the Pastor to help you in your walk with the Lord. Be sure to take a look at it.

Fourth, we will not have a p.m. service on Sunday, or a Wednesday service during the week for the time-being; this includes the choir and Pastor’s class. All children and youth services and activities are also closed for an indefinite period of time.

Fifth, we ask that all ministries in the church including those that have ten or fewer persons participating also suspend meeting until we move beyond this present time.

Last, The Pastor says that the following activities not cancelled due to the Coronavirus are : praying, worshiping, being thankful, sharing the love of Christ, giving hope to others, speaking peace, and helping those in need. Stay faithful and stay connected to the Lord.

Food pantry: hours 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM (as long as supplies last)

We are limiting the food pantry to homes with small children, and to senior citizens: (age of 65 or older). You may stop by the church during the time stated above each day from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Persons served may come only once per week for the time being. We are using plastic grocery bag size distributions in order to make our supplies go further, thank you (appointment needed: please call 704-263-2131).
Stanley PH Church – “It’s okay to have questions; and it’s okay to be unsure of what you believe… No matter what, you belong here.”

Growth: Invite a friend

These days, if someone is going to come to church, 90% of them will have been invited by someone else. Inviting someone to church, as simple as it sounds, is a key way for people to connect with church and therefore, we pray, connect with Christ.

Groups: Join a small group

Small groups are the best place to get connected and grow at Stanley PHC. We want to see people doing life together as they study God’s Word, experience life change, support one another through the challenges of life, as well as pray and care for one another. Joining a group at Stanley PHC is a great way to experience biblical community, strengthen your faith, build friendships and grow closer to God.

Gifts: Join a team

Each of us is uniquely designed with gifts and abilities to help others.
True community happens when everyone gets involved in serving. It builds relationship, trust, and brings a deeper sense of belonging.
Get started by checking out the teams you can be a part of. There’s a place for everyone!

Giving: Give online

As people who believe that all we have is from God, we give in grateful recognition of this. As people who want to trust God in every area of our life, we give because it is an act of faith. As people who long to honor God, we give as an act of obedience. As people who love God and love people, we give as an expression of this love. As people with an eternal mindset, we give to invest in heavenly things.
