Back to the Sanctuary: Please Read Carefully: Hello Everyone, we have some good news for you. We are ready to begin the process of coming back into the sanctuary and church building. Thank you for your patience during this long and challenging time. We are still trying to be as careful and thoughtful in this process as possible. Please note the schedule we have worked out for the coming weeks. This schedule is also posted on the church website:

First: Sunday, May 24: We will have a drive-in service at 10:00 a.m. Livestream will continue to be available.

Second: Sunday, May 31: Livestream at 11:00 a.m., and a drive-in music service at 6:30 p.m.
Third: Sunday, June 7: Two services in the sanctuary: 9:00 a.m., and 11:00 a.m.; Sunday School will be conducted by Randy Skidmore at 6:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. Note that we will honor the graduates on June 7th with a short presentation. We have a longer and more thorough presentation to honor the graduates on the WEB page. All families are encouraged to sit together.

Fourth: Sunday, June 14: Two services in the sanctuary: 9:00 a.m., and 11:00 a.m.; Sunday School will be conducted by Randy Skidmore at 6:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Please keep the following in mind, thank you:

  1. We will have the platform band bringing the music for both the 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. services on June 7 and 14, but there will be no choir for these two Sundays. The building will be cleaned at 10:00 a.m. between the two services. We have plenty of hand sanitizers throughout the building and invite you to use these as you enter and leave the building.

  2. Pastor Eric will preach the 9:00 a.m. service, and Pastor Danny will preach the 11:00 a.m. service.

  3. There will be no children, nursery or toddlers programs for Sunday June 7 or June 14

  4. We encourage those with preexisting conditions, or other health concerns to continue to use your best wisdom about returning to church. Livestreaming will continue to be available for those not able to return to the sanctuary at this time.

  5. In order to maintain social distancing for Sunday, June 7 and 14, we are asking that you help us in two ways:

    1. June 7th: Those whose last names begin with “A” to “L” please attend the 9:00 a.m. service, and those whose last names begin with “M” to “Z” please attend the 11:00 a.m. service.

    2. June 14th: Those whose last names begin “M” to “Z” please attend the 9:00 a.m. service, and those whose last names begin with “A” to “L” please attend the 11:00 a.m. service. Families should sit together, but we ask that everyone help us with the social distancing seating for these two Sundays. Some of the rows will be marked in order to help identify social distancing seating.

  1. We will receive the tithe and offering with ushers at each of the doorways at the close of the services. We also hope to have someone at a “tithes and offering” box in the foyer as well for your use.

  2. We anticipate being back on our normal schedule by Sunday, June 21 (Father’s Day).

  3. Stanley Pentecostal Holiness Church is a friendly church…we often hug and shake hands. For now, however, we will use our smile and wave to greet all of our wonderful church friends and family. Please don’t think us distant or unfriendly if we remain on the platform, or don’t walk around the sanctuary greeting everyone as we usually do. We count on taking care of all the precious folks here and plan soon to be back to doing things as we always have. Thank you for your continued prayers. Remember to pray for each other and to love one another.

Food pantry: hours 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM (as long as supplies last)

We are limiting the food pantry to homes with small children, and to senior citizens: (age of 65 or older). You may stop by the church during the time stated above each day from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Persons served may come only once per week for the time being. We are using plastic grocery bag size distributions in order to make our supplies go further, thank you (appointment needed: please call 704-263-2131).
Stanley PH Church – “It’s okay to have questions; and it’s okay to be unsure of what you believe… No matter what, you belong here.”

Growth: Invite a friend

These days, if someone is going to come to church, 90% of them will have been invited by someone else. Inviting someone to church, as simple as it sounds, is a key way for people to connect with church and therefore, we pray, connect with Christ.

Groups: Join a small group

Small groups are the best place to get connected and grow at Stanley PHC. We want to see people doing life together as they study God’s Word, experience life change, support one another through the challenges of life, as well as pray and care for one another. Joining a group at Stanley PHC is a great way to experience biblical community, strengthen your faith, build friendships and grow closer to God.

Gifts: Join a team

Each of us is uniquely designed with gifts and abilities to help others.
True community happens when everyone gets involved in serving. It builds relationship, trust, and brings a deeper sense of belonging.
Get started by checking out the teams you can be a part of. There’s a place for everyone!

Giving: Give online

As people who believe that all we have is from God, we give in grateful recognition of this. As people who want to trust God in every area of our life, we give because it is an act of faith. As people who long to honor God, we give as an act of obedience. As people who love God and love people, we give as an expression of this love. As people with an eternal mindset, we give to invest in heavenly things.
